Batman vs. Superman Teaser Trailer: It May Not Be What It Seems

So, after watching the official teaser of Batman vs. Superman, it had me wondering & questioning a lot of things & imagining what the actual film will be like. Now, keep in mind that this is really just a trailer of a trailer. So, until we see the official trailer, here is what I was thinking.

1. Batman is a very angry man. I mean, his wants Superman to bleed. But, why? Perhaps it is because Gotham City has forgotten about him & here comes this guy from Krypton…who has all of these natural superpowers & is being looked at as the most mysterious wonder of the world. However, there is more to this rage.

2. Who is the villain? This trailer made it seem as if the usual protagonist vs. antagonist storyline is being abandoned & two good guys are now going against each other. Yet, I bet in the actual film, there will be a more badass villain. Someone who is incredibly more villainous than The Joker & Bane combined. Someone who will unite the two so they can fight the real bad guys & all of that stuff we’re use to seeing . However, if this film takes another turn, then that’s fine with me.

3. So, does this correlate with the last film or what? Because I still have a lot of questions that need answers. The ending to the Dark Knight Rises was so intriguing to me & I hope they connect…someway somehow.

More than likely, this trailer is not even half of the storyline. I guess we will have to wait until 2016 to see.

Game of Thrones Viewers Unite: Season 5 Anticipation

Game of Thrones is one of those amazing shows that make you place yourself in the storyline & passionately choose sides to be on. I love Game of Thrones so much, that I feel like it is only right for me to attend the next Dragon Con event as my favorite character, Daenerys Targaryen. This season is definitely going to be good and I am anticipating a few things that I hope will happen, so here is a quick list of what I can only hope. However, you never really know with this crazy but good show.

***No I haven’t read the book series yet. ****

1. John Snow. John Snow. John Snow. How could you not want him to prosper in this season? He better not die, but you never know with this show because what happened in the Red Wedding episode made my head hurt & I was literally yelling at the T.V Screen. Just confused in life. But then, I made myself toughen up & now I am prepared for anything.

2. The Lannister’s will gradually lose their power and influence. Cersei Lannister is the worst and honestly, I don’t feel sorry for her. The only Lannister that is worth feeling sympathy over is Tyrion Lannister. Jaime Lannister is starting to be ‘tolerable”, but he is still a sick asshole…the man impregnated his sister & is in love with her. WTF. That is enough for me to despise him forever. Yet, I don’t dislike him as much as his wicked/selfish sister Cersei.

3. I don’t care, Daenerys Targaryen deserves the Throne. If you analyze the show’s characters, she is a ruler with good intentions, more than just a pretty face, and she conquers without doing evil deeds. Not to mention, she has dragons & a dedicated army that is growing. She makes me proud.

4. The New Future Queen: Margaery Tyrell. She is a threat, in a good way. Cersei is cautious and a little scared of her influence because she knows this.

5. Bran Stark is something special & now that he found the third eye rave in the cave, great things will hopefully happen. Oh, & I hope Sansa finds her little sister Arya before she looses her virginity to Petyr Baelish..I really hope that does not happen Just, no. Arya is doing perfectly find by herself. She is a true warrior/survivor at heart.

This was only a short list of things. Yes, I left out a lot.

Reading Books: What A Mind Treasure

I cannot fully express in words just how much I love reading & why….but here it goes. I am so thankful that my mother took me to the library to check out books weekly when I was little because now , I consider that a treasured hobby. Matter of fact, I still have an active public library card that I use for non-school related reasons as well because I have found some great reads there. I use to read mostly fantasy books, but now I also read a lot of non-fiction as well. I am interested in all kinds of topics ranging from history of all sorts, science, to biographies. If I really want to gain a lot of different interesting knowledge within one power book…then I read from encyclopedias. Lately, I have been in to a lot of science books, so Michio Kaku is one of my latest favorite authors. I don’t know why I haven’t did any blog entries about books yet, but I feel obligated to now. Reading is a mind treasure because it can really enhance you mentally & the right book can make you get lost inside it’s pages, intriguing you. If I had to choose between having my phone all day or a great book, than I would choose the book. Not to mention, when you read books on interesting topics, you open your mind up to knowing so much more. For an example, I love conversing about different topics & reading different kinds of books can help you have more amazing conversations. I always choose a different topic or person that I am into at the time & then start reading about it. For an example, recently I read Rat Pack Confidential by Shawn Levy,  Physics Of The Future by Michio Kaku, Dracula by Bram Stoker, and Space Atlas: Mapping The Universe & Beyond by James Trefil. I prefer having the physical copies of books rather than an ebook because I like to collect hardback versions of my favorites. I encourage people to still pick up a book and let your mind discover new adventures and page-turners. It is most definitely worth it.

Zombie Survival Tips: Um,Just In Case

Of course,  if you watch The Walking Dead then it is not that hard to imagine yourself trying to make it in this world while zombies are trying to eat you. Typically,  zombies are suppose to walk slow.  However,  the very realistic film 28 Days Later showed us all the possibilities and outcomes of zombies running as fast as Olympic track stars. There are some things that we all should know…like shoot/stab the zombie in the head or burn it. However,  there are other things to remember as well. Just in case a zombie attack happens,  or whatever.  It’s better to be prepared or maybe I just watch way too many fantasy shows.
1. It’s better to become a nomad then to try to stay in one place just to be “secure”. There is no such thing as security or a “safe haven” in a zombie infested world.
2. Unless it was a family member,  don’t be hesitant to kill a zombie because it will not think twice about eating your brains. And unless you plan on locking your zombie relative up like in Shaun of the Dead, then you will have to “kill” them even though they’re not really alive anymore. Sorry. They probably would want you to anyways….I know I would.
3. Humans will be the most important creatures to watch for. You will have greedy people who will try to be authoritative and careless. We all know how this goes from watching the Walking Dead.
4. Learn or know how to grow your own food or at least know how to start a fire and kill a bird yourself.  I don’t wanna chop a chicken’s head off either or eat a rabbit but….ya never know. Bottom line, we all have to have survival skills and not be a scary cat. Weak people will have it the hardest. Especially mentally weak folks.
5. And last but not least, don’t let a shift or change in our world make you become a negative person who gives up faith and hope. I mean, it may be hard & your loved ones may look at you as food if they are bitten…but just don’t give up. There are many other tips but these were just a few.
