Despite what society says is beautiful or not, it is important that people feel sincerely good about themselves. I wish that more ladies would genuinely accept their beauty, and not put others down while doing so. For an example, someone who sincerely is confident with themselves won’t feel the need to give another woman dirty looks, hate on another, or give out bad energy period. I’m speaking from a female’s perspective, but it is really unfortunate to me that insecure women give out negative energy to each other, and this all boils down to how confident they are with themselves. I’m not arrogant or conceited, but despite how attractive or unattractive I am to someone…that doesn’t affect the way I feel about myself. We should not thrive off of people’s compliments or take their criticism to the heart. That is not healthy, and we will never be satisfied. This means loving our body types, our skin, putting an emphasis on inner beauty & just feeling truly great from the inside. Don’t worry about not being someone’s preference or body type, because out of all the people in this wide world….some will definitely be attracted to you. It’s just science & how the way things work naturally. I want people to feel better from within, and not critiquing others so harshly just to make themselves feel better. So what if some people don’t like the way you look or whatever? Love the way you look, still be humble, & don’t ever feel bad for being in love with yourself just because of society’s beauty standards! Women should smile at each other more instead of giving dirty looks. I’d rather compliment another female than to hate on her or speak negative. Uplift each other, have authentic inner beauty, and understand that true beauty is more than skin. Our true self esteem level will always come to surface sooner or later. So, let’s not be intimidated by anyone, be beautiful from within, and encourage this among other ladies. Remember, beauty is not just skin deep and being a positive person is a true indicator of genuine confidence & good self esteem.
The book that I am currently reading is Physics of The Impossible by Michio Kaku. Now, this book discusses the possibilities of using our advanced technology to do things that we have only seen be done in science fiction. I am still reading this book, and some of the things that Kaku discusses, includes teleportation & time travel. One side of me is excited to know that there is a scientific way to do these things & how it correlates with physics, but another side of me imagines all of the not-so-great things humans might try to do if we ever found a successful way to do these wonders. Like, who knows what could happen if time travel abilities got into the wrong hands. Teleportation does not violate the laws of physics, but it probably would not be anything like what we see in movies or from comic book characters. Before I get into further detail about these possibilities, I am going to do further research on Class I and 2 physics impossibilities that he categorizes & read all of this book. However, we need to keep in mind that Kaku is just speculating, but this book is really cool.
I cannot fully express in words just how much I love reading & why….but here it goes. I am so thankful that my mother took me to the library to check out books weekly when I was little because now , I consider that a treasured hobby. Matter of fact, I still have an active public library card that I use for non-school related reasons as well because I have found some great reads there. I use to read mostly fantasy books, but now I also read a lot of non-fiction as well. I am interested in all kinds of topics ranging from history of all sorts, science, to biographies. If I really want to gain a lot of different interesting knowledge within one power book…then I read from encyclopedias. Lately, I have been in to a lot of science books, so Michio Kaku is one of my latest favorite authors. I don’t know why I haven’t did any blog entries about books yet, but I feel obligated to now. Reading is a mind treasure because it can really enhance you mentally & the right book can make you get lost inside it’s pages, intriguing you. If I had to choose between having my phone all day or a great book, than I would choose the book. Not to mention, when you read books on interesting topics, you open your mind up to knowing so much more. For an example, I love conversing about different topics & reading different kinds of books can help you have more amazing conversations. I always choose a different topic or person that I am into at the time & then start reading about it. For an example, recently I read Rat Pack Confidential by Shawn Levy, Physics Of The Future by Michio Kaku, Dracula by Bram Stoker, and Space Atlas: Mapping The Universe & Beyond by James Trefil. I prefer having the physical copies of books rather than an ebook because I like to collect hardback versions of my favorites. I encourage people to still pick up a book and let your mind discover new adventures and page-turners. It is most definitely worth it.
